Teaching is the most rewarding occupation. When you encounter a hunger for language skills and leadership qualities it rewards both teacher and student with confidence and immense satisfaction. As a volunteer working in Ethiopia I was privileged to experience the rich culture of this stunning country and enjoy the hospitality and enthusiasm of these happy, handsome people. My activities included:- * working as a journalist for an Ehtiopian News Paper - writing articles about ordinary people achieving extraordinary things * Teaching English and Leadership Skills to adults over 18 years of age * making two short documentary films about practical leadership i.e. fund raising exercises to help some of the poorest local communities obtain simple ammenities that we in the West take for granted. One highlight during my time there was undertaking a restoration project and being part of an Art Exhibiton with three Ethiopian artists.
